Given nutrition is the cornerstone of good health, many conditions can be positively influenced by altering diet and lifestyle.
As a BANT Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I use the latest nutrition science to help you make gradual and lasting change to your diet and lifestyle, helping you to live well.
A thorough review of your diet, lifestyle and medical history enables me to provide you with personalised, realistic and achievable dietary and lifestyle alterations.
I work with a wide range of conditions, but special areas of interest include dysregulated blood sugar, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, weight management, hormone imbalances, fatigue, osteoporosis, arthritis, digestive issues, fatigue, anxiety, allergies and intolerances.
Whether you want to help manage a chronic health condition, undertake a dietary MOT, or simply understand how your diet and lifestyle may be influencing your health, I can provide the right level of support to suit you.
In advance of the first consultation, you will need to complete a comprehensive Health Programme Questionnaire (HPQ) and 5-day Food Diary. This will enable me to make a full assessment of your diet and lifestyle on which my recommendations will be made.

Q & As
How do nutritional therapy consultations work?
You would complete a thorough health questionnaire and five-day food diary in advance of the first consultation. This provides detailed information to help identify potential nutritional imbalances and possible lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your health concerns. If appropriate, functional tests to investigate these imbalances may be recommended in the first consultation. There is no obligation to undertake these. A comprehensive programme is then created to help you address imbalances and factors that may be contributing to your health concerns.
How many sessions would I need?
The number of consultations required is personalised to meet the need of the individual client. It is most common for clients to need three sessions to see a difference in their health and sense of wellbeing. However, it may be that one session is sufficient, if you are simply looking for a review of your diet and lifestyle and an action plan to take away and implement.
What happens during the consultations?
The consultations will last for one hour. This allows enough time to gather information from you, explain your personalised diet and lifestyle recommendations, why they are being recommended and for you to ask questions. In my experience, small, gradual changes are more likely to be implemented and therefore, have a more powerful impact on your symptoms. Therefore, each consultation will include a review of previous changes recommended and include new ones to be introduced.
What about any medications I take?
Any medications you are prescribed will be considered when making dietary recommendations and potential drug-nutrient interactions will be considered.
